It doesn't. Essiraj is not a business. It is built and maintained by volunteers and offered for free. We never sell data and have no intention of introducing paid tiers.

Yes — the full Noble Qur'an, all 604 Uthmani-script pages, is included offline, with translations in seven languages and tafsir (Al-Muyassar) on every ayah.

Essiraj ships with over 27 reciters, including Mishary Alafasy, Abdul Basit, Maher Al-Muaiqly, Saad Al-Ghamdi, Sudais and many others. Each reciter is recorded ayah-by-ayah for perfectly gapless playback.

A spaced-repetition engine (SRS) tuned for Qur'an, plus cloze deletion, first-letter prompts, elaborative-recall and ordering exercises. Progress is tracked per ayah, per surah, per juz and per page.

Yes — seven internationally recognised calculation methods (MWL, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Tehran, Jafari) and all four Asr madhhabs are supported. Times automatically adjust for your location and DST.

Yes. Essiraj uses your device's magnetometer and GPS to compute the true-north qibla with magnetic-declination correction, and a gentle haptic pulse confirms alignment.

None on our servers. Every ayah you read, every dhikr you count, every prayer you log stays on your device. We do not have an account system, we do not use third-party analytics, and we do not share data with anyone.

No third-party trackers, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel. Essiraj does not run third-party analytics code on your device.

Yes. You can export all your data (memorization progress, settings, counters) to a JSON file and restore it on another device.

The full Qur'an, translations, tafsir, adhkar, tasbih and prayer times work 100% offline once installed. Reciter audio can be streamed or downloaded surah-by-surah for offline listening.

iPhone and iPad with iOS 14 or later. Android phones and tablets with Android 8 (API 26) or later. Essiraj is optimised to run well even on older devices.

About 120 MB on iOS and 80 MB on Android for the initial install. Reciter audio packs are optional downloads ranging from ~ 200 MB to ~ 2 GB each.

Yes. Arabic, Farsi and Urdu are fully supported with complete RTL layouts.
