Essiraj computes Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha with seven internationally recognised calculation methods (MWL, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Tehran, Jafari) and all four Asr madhhabs. Questions about this feature

Which calculation methods are supported?

Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), Karachi, Tehran and Jafari (Shia-Ithnā ʿAshariyyah). Asr: Shafi'i/Maliki/Hanbali or Hanafi.

Will the adhan wake me up even if my phone is locked?

Yes. Essiraj uses a full-screen lockscreen alert that bypasses silent mode (if you allow it) and plays the adhan even when the phone is locked.

Is there a home-screen widget?

Yes — on both Android and iOS. Shows the next prayer name and countdown at a glance.
